Randeep on dieting: Starving can be lethal

Randeep Hooda dismissed reports claiming that he consumed only a date and a glass of milk for 4 months to lose 26 kilos for his role in Swatantrya Veer Savarkar. He clarified that his diet was monitored closely by his sister who ensured it met the required level of nutrition. The transformation was tough as he had fainted once and damaged his knee. He warned against extreme weight loss without proper supervision, stating that starving could be lethal.
